Step-by-Step Setup Instructions

Step 1: Create a Telegram Bot with @BotFather

Open your Telegram app, search for @BotFather, and send the message /newbot. Follow the prompts to name your bot and copy your **Bot API Token** (e.g. 123456789:ABCdefGhIJKlmNoPQrsTUVwxyZ).

Step 2: Get Your Chat ID

Start a chat with your new bot and send a test message (e.g., "hello"). Then search for @userinfobot in Telegram to immediately retrieve your numerical **Chat ID** (e.g. 987654321). If adding to a group, add your bot as an Admin to the group.

Step 3: Connect in Voieform Dashboard

Go to your Voieform Dashboard → **Integrations** → **Telegram Alerts**. Paste your **Bot API Token** and **Chat ID**, then click **Send Test Notification**.

Multiple Recipients

To send alerts to multiple team members, simply create a Telegram group chat, add your bot to the group, and enter the group's Chat ID (which starts with a minus sign, e.g. -100123456789).
